In the Public Forum on March 6, I read the letter about Tony Moore getting shortchanged, but I could not understand what it was about. Was it about collecting money as a Democrat to get elected, then switching parties, or about losing the last election? Marian McLawhorn is the best thing that has happened to this district in a long time. We lost a good friend to this district when we lost Sen. Ed Warren, and without the things that Marian McLawhorn has done for us, we would still be without a representative. If she is not sent back to Raleigh, we will be without representation again.
